Billing Policies

My hourly rate is competitive in the community, particularly considering that certain costs are included in the rate: regular postage, faxing, in-office copy jobs, and long distance calling.

If you retain me, you will make an advance fee deposit into the firm’s trust account. That deposit amount varies, as it is based on the expected complexity of your matter.  The deposit is used to pay any fees or costs incurred on a monthly basis. When the amount held in trust nears exhaustion, I may request that you make an additional deposit.

The most common costs incurred in my cases are court filing fees, process server fees, and expenses incurred when obtaining records. Vetter-Hansen Law, PLLC will incur only necessary costs, and keep them to the minimum practicable.

Children in the Office

Due to the sensitive nature of the work done in the office, we cannot accommodate children. If you are unable to arrange childcare for an appointment, please contact us to reschedule.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Please provide 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Occasionally, an urgent matter arises in a case that requires my immediate attention, and I will need to reschedule my appointments. I appreciate your understanding.
